Cancellation Policy

Overview

Disfruta offers various cancellation policies to give guests flexibility while protecting hosts from last-minute cancellations. The specific policy for each listing is displayed before you book.

Minimum Stay Requirement

All bookings on Disfruta require a minimum stay of 4 weeks. We do not offer daily or nightly rates. We encourage tenants to book 1-3 months for the best value and lowest risk for both parties. All tenants must be verified members before booking.

Standard Cancellation Policies

Flexible

Full refund if cancelled at least 30 days before move-in. If cancelled 14-30 days before move-in, the first month is non-refundable but 50% of remaining months will be refunded.

Moderate

Full refund if cancelled at least 45 days before move-in. If cancelled 14-45 days before move-in, the first month is non-refundable but 50% of remaining months will be refunded.

Firm

Full refund if cancelled at least 60 days before move-in. If cancelled 30-60 days before move-in, 50% refund. If cancelled less than 30 days before move-in, no refund.

Strict

Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking, if the move-in date is at least 30 days away. 50% refund if cancelled at least 14 days before move-in. No refund if cancelled less than 14 days before move-in.

Experience Cancellation Policy

Experiences have a standard cancellation policy: full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the experience starts. No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before.

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment method. The time for funds to appear in your account may vary by financial institution.

Extenuating Circumstances

In certain extraordinary situations, we may provide refunds outside of normal cancellation policies. These include:

• Natural disasters affecting the destination
• Government-imposed travel restrictions
• Serious illness or injury (with documentation)
• Death of the guest or immediate family member

Each case is evaluated individually. Contact our support team with documentation to request consideration.

Host Cancellations

If a host cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund. Disfruta will also assist in finding alternative accommodation when possible.

Service Fees

Service fees are refundable if you cancel during the free cancellation period. For partial refunds, service fees are calculated proportionally.

How to Cancel

To cancel a reservation:

1. Go to your Dashboard and select "Trips"
2. Find the booking you want to cancel
3. Click "Cancel Reservation"
4. Review the refund amount and confirm
